Exceed Triathlon club has been a joy to be involved with. It’s great to connect with likeminded people who also enjoy getting up early. I started off as a novice and Ross & the team have helped me improve dramatically. Looking forward to another season with all the Exceed crew!

“I have been training with Ross and all the guys at Exceed for almost a year. I joined looking for guidance as I embarked on my first Ironman and reached all my goals. Not only that, my performances at every distance have risen beyond all my expectations. I finished 3rd in the Tri Events series 2011/12 (and who knows for Triathlete of the Year). With Exceed, training and racing are incredibly tough but incredibly enjoyable. The club is filled with athletes who take the sport seriously, but don’t take themselves or anyone else too seriously. This makes for some brilliant times.”

Six years ago I showed up on the pool deck of my first Exceed squad training session, curious to try my hand at a few triathlons and see what my body could do. I’ve watched the squad grow over the years, recruiting elite athletes from all over Perth, becoming an incorporated club, and dominating the sport in WA. For me personally, the coaching, and supportive club that has become my ‘triathlon family’ has taken me from strength to strength and enabled me to achieve results that I had never thought possible.

I’ve been an Exceed Club member for the past 2 years and I will be a member for many years to come.  Why?  Because those 2 years have been some of the most enjoyable times I’ve spent training and competing in sport and it’s all because of the people I train with.  We train hard but we also have a good time doing so, no one is seen as thou they shouldn’t be with us.  You are made to feel very welcome and all are very approachable, you have a question and someone is more than happy to help you out.

Since joining Exceed, I’ve had undoubtedly the most successful seasons ever. The club ethos, combined with a regular monthly training programme tailored to my specific chosen event, training sessions with other likeminded Pro, Open and top Age Group athletes make for a perfect training environment with un-parralled camaraderie and support.I’ve been with Exceed now for over 2 years and I can honestly say I’ve loved every minute.

I started training with Ross on returning to Perth in 2004, initially as a swim coach. Ross later came to coach me as a triathlete that saw great improvement in my swim and bike splits. Ross has always been supportive – looking to gain the best results out of me as an individual athlete. After years of mostly training alone, I’ve really enjoyed being part of a great group of dedicated athletes, seeing everyone achieve their own personal goals, and now being part of a great team at Exceed.

If you are after a group of dedicated individuals who enjoy all aspects of their sport, then Exceed is the place for you. I have been training with Ross and the friendly people at Exceed for the past few years, and have made some great friends.

Ross and I have worked together to set and achieve realistic goals which culminated in being selected and racing at the Triathlon Age Group World Championships held in Beijing in 2011.

It was not an easy path being that I do not come from a very athletic background, and throw in  a busy work life which sees me travelling regularly we certainly had some hurdles. At all stages I have found Ross and the team to be professional and flexible to meet my needs.

I began being coached by Ross Pedlow in 2007 whilst training for my 1St Busselton Ironman triathlon and have been training under Ross ever since.  I have seen Ross and the coaching team’s dedication and commitment to Triathlon and the Club continue to increase which has had a positive effect on my daily training and showed improvement in my results and goals including 2008/2009 Female Open Triathlete of the Year and competing at the 2009 ITU Age Group World Championships.                                                                                                                        By obtaining monthly coaching programs specifically designed by Ross to suit me and my training commitments I have been able to set goals and achieve my desired results. My current focus was qualifying and now training and competing in the 2012 ITU Age Group World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand.
